ALL Blue Spirit jewellery carries a hallmark to show that it has been tested to meet the standards laid down by the British Hallmarking Council.

 

We only sell 18 carat gold (known as 750 or 75%) and Sterling Silver (925 or 92.5%) which is stamped on to the metal by the Assay Office.

 

The hallmark consists of the metal standard described above as well as the office mark (we use London, UK, and Valencia, Spain) which shows it meets both British and Convention country standards of fineness. Each item also carries our sponsor’s mark: “BS”.

 

If you are at all concerned about buying jewellery over the internet, you should always buy hallmarked goods.

 

For hundreds of years, this has been the customer’s guarantee that they are buying real gold/silver and not plated base metal or worse, jewellery with high nickel content which the vast majority of wearers are allergic to.
